The 2017 Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival will take place on March 19, 2017 at South Beach Park along the Fort Lauderdale Beach. Join us on the beach for food trucks, tents in the sand and a fun concert!
Why Join the 2017 Florida AIDS Walk
By the end of 2014, it is estimated that more than 132,000 of our fellow Floridians were living with HIV/AIDS. Florida ranked the third highest state in the nation in that category. Despite medical breakthroughs in HIV treatment, the number of new HIV cases in Florida continues to climb year over year, and increased more than 23% in 2015. With your help, the Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival generates financial support through pledges and donations to provide the care and services that these people so desperately need; as well as to implement testing and education to prevent the likelihood of new infections in the future.
All of the money raised at the Florida AIDS Walk stays right here in Florida, and does incredible things like buy mobile HIV testing vans, fund free HIV testing, create HIV awareness and prevention education programs. And provide free or low-cost medical care for HIV positive people in need! Join us and make a real difference to those who need you!
We look forward to having you, along with friends and family join Team Kidz 4 A Cure at the 2017 Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival.
